Peter R. Then

D.M.D.

Dr. Then has been in private practice limited to periodontics and dental implants since 1995. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a member of several dental societies, including the American Academy of Periodontology and the International Team of Oral Implantology. Dr. Then’s has extensive experience in all surgical aspects of implant dentistry including full arch implant rehabilitations, periodontal plastic surgery and interdisciplinary treatment to achieve optimal outcome for our patients.

Dr. Then graduated from the University of Frankfurt School of Medicine, and Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He received his Certificate for Graduate Training in Periodontology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and received his doctorate degree from the University of Frankfurt School of Medicine. In 2003, Dr. Then is the founder and director of the Casco Bay Study Club, an affiliate of the Seattle Study Club.

We've been here now for over 50 years and I think we've been the specialty place to go to when it comes to trying to save your teeth, treating periodontal disease with having all the surgical specialties combined in one place, you really get a comprehensive view and you get all the options. And I think, you know, taking all teeth out and replacing everything with dental implants is, is one thing we do, but from a periodontal standpoint too, we, we also look at, well, what teeth can we save?
